RANNSAK maintains a strong commitment to protecting the privacy of its users and the information that users share when using the RANNSAK platform. This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes the privacy practices of RANNSAK LLC and our subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively, RANNSAK, “We”, “Us” and/or “Our”) with respect to information, including personally identifiable data, personally identifiable information, personal information, or similar identifiable data that identifies you as an individual personally as defined under applicable law (“Personal Data”) that we collect about individuals (“You” and/or “Your”), including through any of our websites, mobile applications, or any other services or offerings which may reference this Privacy Policy (the “Services”) (all of the Your data or information received by, or generated through Your use of, the RANNSAK services, including Personal Data defined broadly herein as “Information”).
Any Services may also provide additional policies which will govern how RANNSAK processes the information with respect to that specific product, service, or promotion. Upon submitting Information to and through our Services, you consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy, our Terms of Service in addition to any other documentation referenced herein. Should you determine that you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, then you should discontinue use of RANNSAK services immediately. RANNSAK reserves the sole right to deny, suspend, or terminate anyone’s access to our services should we reasonably suspect that they have infringed upon and/or no longer consent to any provision of this Privacy Policy.
How We Collect Information and What We Do With It
Information That You Submit to Us. RANNSAK may collect the Information that you submit to us when you use the Services, including but not limited to] when you (1) create an account; (2) rent an Item (as either the Equipment Owner and/or the Renter); (3) participate in our events or promotions; (4) send communications to us or other users on the Service via the Service or e-mail ; and/or (5) communicate with us or other users through the Service. In addition, we collect your information when you opt in to receive marketing e-mails, or be notified of various opportunities offered by RANNSAK.
RANNSAK uses cookies, web beacons, pixel tracking technology, and other similar technologies to collect information. We utilize this information to better our Services and for analytics purposes. We may use aggregated, non-personally identifying information to operate, analyze, improve, and optimize our website and service we may collect Information from you, as further described herein. Aggregated, non-personally identifying information is not considered to be your Information because it does not identify you as an individual, in any meaningful way.
The Kinds of Data That We Collect
Should you decide to sign up for and use the Service, then you understand and agree that you will be delivering data to RANNSAK that includes but may not be limited to:
Contact data such as your name, address, and phone number
Profile data such as your username, password, photo, drivers license number and user preferences
Demographic data such as the postal code of Your primary residence or business, your gender, and age
Data such as text, audio, video, and meta-data content associated with Your uploads
Transaction data, such as payment methods and other details connected to any of Your purchases
Communication data, such as questions, comments, concerns, and feedback which You send to Us via the Service and/or via e-mail

Usage data such as information regarding Your use of, and interaction with, the Services

Data We Collect from and exchange with Third Parties
RANNSAK reserves the right to obtain Information about You from various third-party services such as Social Media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and Tumblr (“Third-Party Services”). When available on the Services, you may choose to enable any of these Third-Party Services. In some instances, you may use Your existing RANNSAK credentials to enable Third-Party Services. In engaging with these Third-Party Services vis-à-vis RANNSAK, You understand that you will be sharing data between such Third-Party Services and RANNSAK. How Your data is transferred from Third-Party services to us is governed by the settings, policies, and your agreements with those Third-Party Services. You understand that you are solely and completely responsible for those policies, agreements, and settings which you necessarily agree to when using our Services. RANNSAK bears no responsibility for the agreement entered into with, or the actions taken by any such Third-Party Service. We reserve the right to add the information collected from Third-Party Services to the information collected about you via our Services with the goal of improving and enhancing the Services we provide to you. Please note that we may choose to access additional Information about you from our marketing partners, public sources, data providers, and other third parties. If you choose to block our access to information from a specific third-party platform or social media site, we maintain the right to use the information that we have already received from that third party. Similarly, the Services uses the payment processor STRIPE to process and manage payments made for services provided through RANNSAK. You are subject to all privacy policy rules, conditions, and stipulations put forth by Stripe when using their services.
How We Use the Data We Collect
The following includes illustrations of how we may use the information collected about Users, as alluded to above.
To provide, advance, and enhance the Service
To deliver products, data, and the Service itself to you
To process, communicate, and enable Renting orders
To enable security, remember Your device, and provide You with, as necessary, security codes to safely access the Services
To activate and enable social features
To engage and communicate with users
To make marketing announcements or deliver advertising to You
Engage in any other actions deemed necessary by RANNSAK to deliver the Services
Furthermore, RANNSAK reserves the right and may utilize Your Information to (1) analyze and enhance the delivery of the Service (2) comply with any federal, state, or local law, rule, or regulation, including law enforcement requests such as subpoenas (3) protect our and all Users’ privacy rights, (4) prevent fraudulent or illegal activity on our Service (5) create anonymous, aggregated data.
The Legal Standing Upon Which RANNSAK Collects Your Personal Data
RANNSAK collects and processes your Information on the basis of different legal grounds, depending on the nature of the Information being provided and the type of processing involved, as follows:
Engagement and Performance of a Contract. Some of the Information We collect is necessary for Us to enter into an agreement with You or to comply with Our existing agreement with You.
Legitimate Interest. Another legal basis for Us collecting and processing your data is known as “Legitimate interest.” Legitimate interest includes instances when RANNSAK sends you marketing materials about our services, when we believe that You have a reasonable expectation that we will process a certain type of transaction on your behalf, or when necessary for detection and prevention of fraud or illegal activity. RANNSAK will only rely on such a ground where an assessment has been performed balancing the interests and rights involved and the necessity of the processing in order to provide our services, products and features to You.
A Legal Obligation. Another ground relied upon for some types of data collection and processing is that it is necessary to do so in order for RANNSAK to comply with a legal obligation.
Explicit Permission. Finally, in certain situations RANNSAK relies on your express consent in order to make use of your Personal Data.

From time to time, we may and, in fact, do share your Personal Information with any and all of these third parties:
Business Partners, Affiliates, Advisors and Transfer Participants. We may share your Information with our channel partners, subsidiaries, affiliates, professional advisors (such as financial, insurance, legal accounting, or otherwise), joint ventures, or any other company, to fulfill obligations and requests, to deliver provide users information about RANNSAK and other purposes in RANNSAK’s sole discretion in its provision of the Services. Please note that RANNSAK does not control how a business partner may use your Personal Information. Our business partners are responsible for managing the use of Personal information collected in these circumstances. We may also share your Personal Data with our corporate parent, subsidiaries, and affiliates, for purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy, as well as other RANNSAK services including those which you are not a user.
Technical Service Providers. RANNSAK will share your Information with individuals, contractors, and other third-party entities that provide a service to RANNSAK such as code/server maintenance, identity verification, fraud monitoring, credit card processing, data storage, etc.
Third Parties. If you choose to enable features that connects the RANNSAK Service to a third-party platform such as a social media network (each, a “Third Party”), then we may transfer Your Information to the Third Party and have no control over how the Third Party will use or process Your Information. Additionally, we may share information about You with additional third parties, whether or not authorized by You, in our delivery of the Services.
Other Users. We will share Your Information with other Users including to Equipment Owners/Renters (as understood by the definitions outlined in the Terms of Use agreement) after you engage with the transacting party to Rent the Product.
Public Availability. By using the Services, You understand that your Content, including photos, posts, and other information you post to the Site are meant to be viewed by both other Users and the general public. We may display this content on our Services, and further distribute it to a wider audience through third-party sites and services. Once displayed on publicly accessible websites and platforms, Your information can be collected and used by others. We have no control over who reads your posts or what actions other Users may take or what other Users may do with the information that you voluntarily post. Do not put any sensitive, confidential, or any private information you do not wish to be publicly known in your posts. Once you have posted information publicly, you will be able to edit and delete it on the Service at any time. However, you will not be able to edit or delete information that may have been captured and stored elsewhere by others.
Legal Obligations to Provide Information. We will share Your information with law enforcement entities, government authorities, or other parties as, and if, required by law or in good faith that sharing the information in question is necessary to comply with legal proceedings, protect individuals’ rights and safety; or to protect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent, harmful, abusive, unauthorized, or illegal activity.
Your Rights as a User
Understand that you have specific rights through Your use of the RANNSAK Service. You have the right to:
Access, assess, modify, and remove Your Information (or your RANNSAK account altogether) from RANNSAK at will. Furthermore, you have the right to request that RANNSAK assist you with any of these activities directly. In specific instances, RANNSAK may reject your request outright and reserves the right to do so. In those instances, RANNSAK will make every effort to provide you with an explanation as to why the request has been denied. Please note that we may be compelled (by legal authorities or otherwise) to retain certain pieces of data indefinitely or for a specific period of time. We may retain certain Personal Data indefinitely unless you delete it or request that we delete it. We keep your personal information for no longer than necessary for the purposes for which the personal information is processed. We may retain your information to satisfy applicable governmental laws, regulations, investigations, proceedings or for reasonable backup, archival, audit, legal or other similar purposes.
By using the Services, you maintain the right to withdraw any consent you have provided RANNSAK at any time, however, withdrawing such consent may limit or restrict Your use or access of our Services.
Opt out of emails, including marketing, advertising, promotional, and third-party communications. It is your right to revoke your permission for US to provide you with these emails at any time by unsubscribing or selecting this option through our Services. However, irrespective of your election to opt out, we may still be required to send you Service-related communications, including any updates to our terms of service or Privacy Policy.
We do not sell your Personal Data in a linear, direct transaction (i.e., your information in exchange for a direct sum of money) to third-parties. Still, as is common with many companies, we use services that collect information from You (to deliver advertisements to You for example) and as a technical matter, this may be categorized as a “sale” of your Personal Data.
Automated Data Collection Methods (Cookies etc.)
RANNSAK, our service providers and business partners, may and do routinely and automatically collect data such as your device data (Computer operating system etc.) and online activity data (websites visited, location, screens viewed, etc.) through automated means such as cookies, Flash-based LSOs, web beacons, and similar technologies.
These technological tools which facilitate Automated Collection may also help us optimize the functionality of the Service, enable You to securely save passwords, and generally monitor Your use of the Service. With Regard to Children
RANNSAK does not intentionally collect Information from and persons under to the age of 18. Should we determine that we have unintentionally received Information from an individual under age 18, we will make every effort to delete the Information as soon as possible. If you believe we may have collected Personal Information from an individual under the age of 18, please contact us immediately.
Third-Party Websites and Services
This Privacy Policy applies only to the RANNSAK Services. The RANNSAK Services may offer links to third-party websites, mobile applications, and services (“Third Party Offerings”). RANNSAK does not endorse, represent, or encourage the patronage of any Third Party Offerings. Additionally, RANNSAK’s content may be included in Third Party Offerings that are not associated with us. We bear no responsibility and are not liable for any such Third Party Offerings. Please read and understand the terms and policies of Third Party Offerings before interacting or dealing with third party websites, applications, and services.
Security of Data
RANNSAK uses organizational, electronic, and physical safeguards to protect your Personal Data from loss, misuse, theft, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Depending on the circumstances, our safeguards to protect Personal Data in electronic and physical records include restrictions to facilities access, system access controls, firewalls, data encryption, and payment processing security.
Please understand that no email, Internet-based transaction, database, or other electronic transmission is ever 100% secure or error free. Please take special care when deciding what information to provide to us.
Authentication of Identity
We maintain the right, although we make no such warranties or promises that we will, to authenticate your identity by technical, legal, and investigative means satisfactory to Us in order to process your requests, make transactions, access your data, or exercise your deletion rights.

We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason at our sole discretion. We may, and if legally required to do so, will also provide notification of changes by way of email.
